​​Cut-Stone Shop Foreman

  • Job Summary:
    • This position requires you to run a stone fabrication facility. Produce cut-stone orders using a variety of stone manufacturing techniques and tools.
  • ​Responsibilites:
    • ​​Manufacture orders in a timely manner.
    • Manage inventory levels.
    • Manage Re-order levels.
    • Ability to read and understand construction/shop drawings.
  • Job Specifications:
    • ​Education - High School Diploma
    • Experience - At least 3 years in a stone fabrication facility. (Will train possible candidate)
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
    • ​ Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to work with people in a variety of circumstances and from various backgrounds.
    • Possess a thorough, organized and detail-oriented approach to work.
    • Plan, prioritize, and coordinate, multi-task and complete work assignments within deadlines.
    • Able to apply effective time management and self-management skills. Able to be flexible in position requiring timely response.
    •  Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities.
    •  Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies.
    • Ability to foster a cooperative business environment.
    • Ability to read technical reports, engineering and construction documents and technical knowledge of building components and their function.
    •  Knowledge of contract documents and specifications.
  • Physical Requirements: 
    • Apply physical dexterity with some bending, stretching, reaching, grabbing, holding and carrying.
    • Hear and speak in order to communicate with others.
    • Lifting of heavy materials unassisted.
    • Stand and walk for the majority of a work day, sometimes on uneven surfaces.
    • Walk and climb, including ladders and stairs.
  • Work Environment:
    • The majority of the work is performed in a fabrication facility, with exposure to dirt, dust, dampness, construction debris, possible extreme temperatures, noises, construction material fumes and odors. 
  • Compensation: 
    • ​​Salary - Pay based on experience $14 - $21/hr​​

Hardscape & Masonry Foreman

  • ​Job Summary: 
    • The Hardscape & Masonry Foreman is responsible for installation and management of landscape,  hardscape & masonry projects. The foreman is responsible for completing project installations with great precision and business minded efficiency. 

  • ​Responsibilites:
    • Direct activities on the job site, they include but are not limited to: coordinating work flow, hands on work, operating a variety of machinery & client relations.
    • Manage personnel effectively and efficiently.
    • Communicating production goals (and other items) with crew members, supervisors, and clients.
    • Train and promote the development of subordinates in the best practices of installation and company standards.
    • Maintain a clean and safe job site at all times.
    • Track and record all job expenses, including but not exclusively materials and hours worked.
    • Monitor all tools, equipment and machinery for needed maintenance.
    • Supervises and manages landscape crew.
    • Ensures that each crew member is trained appropriately for each designated job assignment.
    • Participates in and conducts all job site safety briefings with crew members
    • Ensures that all crew members utilize all required personal protective equipment.
    • Understands and instructs crew members on proper job site security procedures.
    • Ensures that all installation work is performed in accordance with industry and company standards.
    • Ensures that all equipment safety and maintenance procedures are followed.
    • Performs administrative functions pertaining to crew management.
    • Interacts with clientele in order to help ensure job satisfaction.
    • Understands financial aspects of each job assignment.
    • Supervises all crew members during the performance of all assigned work.
    • Leads by example.
    • Reports for duty at the designated location on time each day.
    • Follows directions from supervisor.
